MiTEQ: Setting The Foundations For 2022
2022 represents MiTEQ's third year providing asset tracking, management, and mobility solutions to a full spectrum of medium and large-scale enterprises - from sectors such as Transportation, Logistics, Healthcare, and Field Services.
In this blog, we will highlight some of the progress MiTEQ has made, over the past year, both in terms of the processes underpinning our technology solutions, and as a business, in general.
Winning Our First Business Award
This award celebrates "great tech initiatives and organisations across the South West. It could be a company achieving fantastic growth, an organisation or partnership delivering a big positive difference to their community, a learning initiative, innovative programmes, novel ways of encouraging and celebrating tech heroes, diversity, best practice or local tech successes." It was a huge milestone, for the team, given how hard everyone had been working to look after MiTEQ's growing customer-base.
Earning New ISO Accreditations: Quality Management & Environmental Management
More specifically, "[ISO 9001] reaffirmed a number of quality management principles, including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement." This accreditation shows that were are being consistent, reliable and compliant with the services we are offering to our customers. The "ISO 14001 [accreditation] is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environmental management system. It helps organizations improve their environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste, gaining a competitive advantage and the trust of stakeholders."
Over the past 12 months, the MiTEQ team has been growing, and upskilling specialisms - especially those relating to Zebra Technology's Intelligent Edge Solutions - at lightening speed. It's not that often we get a chance to spotlight some of the amazing individuals driving MiTEQ forward, so we intend to create a series of "Meet The Team" posts, over the coming months, championing the people behind the technology.
At the beginning of 2021, the team created a goal to support more community initiatives - especially those supporting vulnerable families and frontline workers. After creating a "GiveBack" programme, it wasn't long before we found some great charities to support.
We continue to support numerous community initiatives. We have been regularly donating food to Devizes District Foodbank, recently donated picture books, Zebra Technology zippies, and gaming consoles to Children's Hospice Southwest (Charlton Farm), for Christmas, and have plans for several upcoming donations, in 2022.
This year, we look forward to doing more to support our "Family Charity", Children’s Hospice Southwest, as well as our "Scale-up Charity", Pete Lewin’s Newfoundlands - a charity providing mental wellness swims, to healthcare workers, veterans, schools, and more.
